FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost of an Escape Room?

The cost is $25 per adult and $20 per student.  Students include anyone under 18 years of age-or-anyone with a current valid college ID.

What is an escape game?

Escape games are real life mental and physical adventures where you and your fellow players have an hour to complete a series of codes, riddles, piecing together puzzles and finding clues.

Do I need to book our escape game in advance?

YES. You can see escape game times and book reservations on our online booking page. Walk-ins are welcome, but we can’t guarantee room/game master availability unless you’ve booked ahead of time.

Is there a minimum age required?

Our Escape Rooms are recommended for teenagers and older.  However, anyone is welcome to play.  Room themes and Puzzles can sometimes be a bit boring for younger players.

We do require that at least one person in the room is 16 years of age or older. ALL players will need to have a waiver signed prior to room entry.
If under 18, a waiver MUST be signed by the parent/guardian of player.
An electronic version is available online (and is smartphone compatible)
.

Can we book outside the hours listed -or- the room we’re interested in is not listed?

Due to the availability of our crew, we are not able to have 24/7 bookings on the site (bummer, I know).  If you are looking for a time not listed on the booking site, or the room you’re interested in is not listed as available, please give us a holler and a GameMaster would be happy to check it out and see if its available!

What time should my group arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booking. We do have to keep a strict schedule, so if you arrive late you may not receive the full 60 minutes in your room or your booking may be cancelled with no refund.

Do I need to bring anything with me to escape?

Just your friends and a winning spirit! You will only need the clues within the rooms to escape. Before your game, we’ll ask you to fill out a quick waiver.
(If you haven’t done so online)

Are you really going to lock us in?

No! Due to your safety (and local fire codes), we don’t really lock you in. You have the option to leave the escape room at any time if necessary.

Are there cameras in the escape rooms?

Yes. Cameras and audio are used to monitor your live experience.

What happens if we don’t solve anything?

We will be monitoring your progress throughout the escape game. Our game masters will provide clues if you get stuck — after all, we want you to have fun!
Remember, it’s not only about trying to escape the room, it’s about the full experience.

What if we don’t book all the available spots for an escape room?

If your group doesn’t book all the available spots in an escape room it will stay available for other groups to book as well. You could possibly be paired with another group. If you want to book an entire room, you will need to book and pay for a private party which is 6 adults. If you have more than 6 show up, additional spots can be paid for at check-in.

 Are the tickets refundable?

Due to the nature of our business, No refunds are allowed, but we will work with you to reschedule a game if an emergency arises.

Are tickets transferable to a friend?

Yes. You can give/sell your booking to another person. Just give us a call and we can take care of that for you. You can reach us by phone at (815) 250-0117.

What forms of payments are accepted?

For online bookings, we take every major credit card. We also accept cash if booking in person.
Business/Organizations may pay by check with prior approval.

Is there a limit to the number of players?

All of our escape games have a minimum of 2 players and a maximum of 8-12 players (depending on the room).  Please check the Escape Room Bio pages at the bottom of the homepage to see what the maximum number of players allowed is.

Can I take photos or video while playing the escape games?

Sorry, but we ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos in the escape rooms.  Not only is it against our rules and prosecutable, it isn’t fair to other players.
